Meet our team:
Dr. Brown grew up in Butte, Montana and moved to California to attend college. Dr.Brown graduated from California State College at Los Angeles with a BS in Biology. He graduated from Southern Callifornia College of Optometry in 1979 with a BS in Visual Science and a Doctorate of Optometry.
Dr. Brown has practiced in the Gold River-Rancho Cordova area for over 30 years. He practices General Optometry with specialities in Contact Lenses and Laser Vision Correction. Dr. Brown also has an Optometric Therapeutic License that allows him to diagnosis and treat ocular diseases and prescribe medications.
Dr. Brown is married and has two grown sons. He enjoys the outdoors and spends his free time fishing in Montana for trout and the Carribean for Tarpon and bonefish.
Sherry is a native of California, born in Chowchilla and raised in Redding. She has lived in Folsom for over 30 years.
She has two wonderful daughters and two amazing grandsons. She loves to garden and take weekend getaways with her husband of 31 years.
She has worked for Dr. Brown for over 31 years. She is knowledgeable in all aspects of the office. She is responsible for all insurance coverages and is the person to call if you have any billing questions. Sherry is the person to contact to discuss and schedule refractive surgery.
Tiffany was raised in Chicago, Illinois and has lived in California for 18 years. Tiffany is a proud mother of a Yorkie named Bella Marie; better known as the “3lb Terror Terrier” and is expecting her first child in June, 2017.
Tiffany also enjoys cooking, entertaining, traveling and spending time with loved ones. Tiffany has been in the optical field since August 2013.
Valerie was born and raised in a desert town known as Apple Valley in Southern California. She moved to Gold River with her boyfriend of 9 years in February of 2017. She was an all-star soccer player for the majority of her teen years and still loves to stay active. She loves being outdoors in the sunlight and enjoying wildlife.
Valerie earned her Bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona in Zoology and has a minor in Physiology. She plans to pursue and continue her education in the environmental field. She has been in the optical field since September 2015.
